I've
been at since the mid 60's. Started taking lessons on the mandolin at 9 then
added
guitar when I turned 12. Stopped formal training when I hit 16 and started
learning
everything I could: Santana, Deep Purple, Savoy Brown, Pink Floyd, Led
Zeppelin,
Uriah Heep, and a lot more. Then, in 1973 I discovered Blue Oyster Cult
and a great friend
in Donald (buck dharma) Roeser who became and still is my biggest influence and
inspiration.
At 20 I began trying to compose my own music and at 23 started a mostly original
band,
we did a few select covers. Did that for the next ten years.
That part of my life then ended for numerous reasons but I continued to jam
along with
friends and the stereo in my home. Now I'm back at it, writing and
recording music
at my home in the country.
The Internet has given me the opportunity to have my music heard.
I've also met and collaborated with lots of cool musicians and have heard some
some
excellent music created by independent artists.
The guitar has been a major part of my life and will continue as long as my
fingers will
let me. And now a new chapter begins in my life. I've found my love, my
soul mate
and I dedicate the rest of my time here on earth to my love, Gina.
